DeLores Pressley Motivates EDGE Participants
The Gift of IT closed career month with guest speaker DeLores Pressley, principal of DeLores Pressley World Wide, Born Successful, and host of The DeLores Pressley show on LA Talk Radio. Mrs. Pressley is a motivational speaker who has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Entertainment Tonight, and in national publications such as People Magazine, Ebony, and Jett Magazines. " Mrs. Pressley graciously gave her time and energy to the EDGE participants and for that we are thankful" says Benita Williams, Executive Director of the Gift of IT.
The Gift of IT and The East Akron Community House/EDGE program presented Mrs. Pressley with a crystal award for the gift of service to the youth in the community. "We are honored to have Mrs. Pressley speak at our event, she has the ability to reach and motivate today's youth."
During her presentation, Mrs. Pressley told the EDGE participants that they can achieve anything they set their minds to. "Your future is so bright, you need sunglasses to see" Mrs. Pressley told the EDGE participants. The EDGE participants were receptive to the message and they were eager to participate. Mrs. Pressley words of encouragement will leave a positive impression on the community.
